Mr Ong, 55 years old, has served in the Education Service for 28 years. He first joined the Service in 1976 as a teacher at Catholic Junior College. Prior to his appointment as Principal, Mr Ong was Vice-Principal of Ghim Moh Secondary School and Outram Secondary School. He also served in the Curriculum Planning & Development Division of MOE HQ. In 1994, Mr Ong was appointed as Principal of Chung Cheng High School (Branch) for about five years before he was rotated to head Fuhua Secondary School in 1999.I kind of found this interesting. It states that he was 55 years old. Since this article was written in 2004, he should be around 60 years old now.
